I realized that if you have a celery juice shot first thing in the morning, and switch up the recipes instead of leaving it plain, it really does help with inflammation, bloating, your liver, skin, electrolyte balance, cleansing – so many things.
I wanted to share my current celery juice shot recipes with you. If you’re a purist and want to just juice it plain – I totally understand. But for me, there are so many good things you can add to amp it up, so…that’s what I do (with great results).
Celery Juice Shot Recipes
If you want to make your juice go farther, or if you don’t like the taste of celery, adding coconut water to your shot recipe is a great way to make them more palatable.
Option 1 CELERY & COCONUT JUICE SHOTS
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2-1 cup coconut water
- 1 bunch celery
Option 2 CELERY & LEMON JUICE SHOTS
Option 3 CELERY, CUCUMBER & GINGER JUICE SHOTS
- 1/2 bunch celery (3-4 stalks)
- 1/2 large cucumber or 1 small cucumber
- 2 inch knob fresh ginger root
DIRECTIONS
Juice the produce together, and add them to your shot bottles. If using coconut water to make the shot milder, add half of the juice to the jars and add the coconut water on top. Save in the fridge or freeze for later use.
BENEFITS: Celery juice is high in natural electrolytes so it’s great for natural hydration and to replace them. It has a calming effect and many people find that it helps to reduce stress and blood pressure. It’s also a diuretic which help to remove excess water weight and bloat. Reduces inflammation, supports digestion.
